Just finished this piece today. “The Wizard” – pencil sketch first, then done completely in ink. Including ink washes.
I really wanted to get a nice film noir look to it with strong shadows and dark story.
The story is that this wizard has been chased by a mysterious evil figure all his life. He’s resorted to living on the streets as a vagrant as he continues to run and hide in the shadows. But inevitably the dark figure caught up to the wizard in his old age.
