31 Days Of Monsters – Day 10 – Today I had the idea of sketching up a type of hell hound. My initial idea was to have the whole body split down the side from the top of the torso down to the hip. So the entire body would open up and become a giant gaping maw. Didn’t work out in the sketch. I still like the idea and will probably use it in the future, but would have to work on it to make it a bit more solid of a design. So on this one I sketched out a basic dog sitting and erased the head. The front of the torso is an eyeless mouth with a giant tongue. Used markers and a little photoshop for the quick shading. The anatomy is a little screwy, but all in all I think it turned out okay.
