31 Days Of Monsters – Day 13 – For this one (gave myself 15 minutes), I wanted to do a 3/4 portrait type of shot and mix in some cthulhu elements. The mouth became all cthulhu-tentacled and I started on the shading as the time ran out. I do like some of it, but I’d like to do it again with a longer time limit (or no time limit). If nothing else, these quick sketches are giving me some great ideas for more refined illustrations down the road.
