31 Days Of Monsters – Day 31 – Wow, I’m really down to the last monster sketch of the month! This was a 15 minute pencil sketch of a mutant.
Overall, I believe this was a great experiment. I wanted to see if I could keep up with a sketch of a monster a day whether I had a full work schedule or not. And I was able to keep it up. I also wanted to see, through these quick sketches, if I had any bad habits in my drawing. And I found a few here and there. I know these are fast sketches with no reference, but still, I noticed some things that I need to work towards not repeating. I also noticed that some things became easier. So, all in all, I would say that this was a fun and successful experiment. I think I’ll try something like it again in the future.
