I did this piece earlier today for sketch theatre’s monthly challenge. This month’s topic was “Alien Plantlife.”
My idea was that an alien plant lures its victims in close by blooming a floating glittering spore. This spore tricks the brains of its victims into thinking that the spore is the only thing that matters to them. They forget everything else. Including the boiling digestive fluids excreted by the plant that seeks out the victim and slowly digests them and allows the plant to spread and flourish.
