Posting a couple images today that I had sketched up on Saturday. A moleskine sketch and a mutant.
The sketch was an experiment in sharp sketchy lines. I tried to stay away from rounded lines on this one. Didn’t have a real plan going in; the character came into fruition as the sketch moved along.
The mutant was done later in the evening. I had an image of a “lovecraftian” type of merman-mutant stuck in my head, so I had to get it down on paper.
Both were good ways to keep me loose and warm me up for work-related art.
Later tonight or tomorrow I will post an illustration I completed yesterday – My version of an animated character.
