After far too long I’ve had a chance to get back into my moleskines and get some new artwork done. I didn’t know how much I missed sketching in my little moleskine until I put pen to paper. I did have some rust to knock off but after a little while I feel like I got back into the swing of things.
Here’s the first one from March 6th. It’s pretty loose. Just some exploring and artistic calisthenics:
These next three (and more to come in future posts) are inspired by a new book I picked up called Wilder Mann. Great book! Full of awesome photos of people in costume for traditional celebrations and rituals. Really wonderful imagery:
