Couple of new pieces I wanted to post. The first one is of the Superman villain, Darkseid. Fun character to do. Took about 40 minutes to draw. This morning I thought I would do a quick color overlay – maybe 15 minutes. But I used the soft brush waaaay too much! Ah well. Was debating whether I wanted to show it, but I think it’s a good example of learning as you go. So on this color sketch, I’d say I learned what not to do.
The second drawing took an hour or so. Had an idea stuck in my head of someone being pushed backwards by a monster. Nothing too fancy, just a fun study.
