This is a piece that I finished today for an online competition. The subject was “Winter’s Inspiration.”
My inspiration is feeding the critters outside. I remember my grandpa doing it and we have a great photo of him feeding the rabbits by hand. Now I go out and whistle the deer over and feed them. Lots of other creatures come scurrying over as well – rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc.
